Home Minister inaugurates works in Narsinghpur

Bhopal, September 3, 2013 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):  Home Minister and in-charge of Narsinghpur district Mr Umashankar Gupta inaugurated and laid foundation stones of various development works in Kareli development block of Narsinghpur district today. Mr Gupta inaugurated newly constructed building of high school at village Niwari and water tank at Kareli. Mr Gupta said that state’s direction and condition have undergone positive changes due to efforts of the State Government. Round-the-clock power is being supplied to 53 thousand villages in the state.

Rs. 25 thousand crore has been spent on feeder separation work. He informed that about 95 thousand kilometer long roads have been constructed in the state. Mr Gupta informed that Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana has been launched to benefit young entrepreneurs.

Under the schemes, loans upto Rs. 25 lakh each will be provided with 5 percent loan subsidy for 5 years. He informed that BPL consumers’ electricity bills worth Rs. 1000 crore outstanding till June 30 have been waived. Local public representatives also spoke on the occasion.
