Good governance day today

 Officers and employees to take oath at Mantralaya Park at 11 am

 CM Mr Chouhan to attend function in Chhindwara

 Bhopal, December 24, 2011 (Ataullah Faizan): Good Governance Day is being observed throughout the state to mark 88th birthday of the former Prime Minister Mr Atal Behari Vajpaee. On Good Governance Day, officers and employees will take the oath of establishing highest standards of good governance on Saturday, December 24. Chief Minister Mr Shivraj Singh Chouhan will administer oath of good governance to officers and employees at village Mordongri in Parasia development block of Chhindwara district at 11 am on December 24.

Oath-taking function at Mantralaya park

An oath-taking function will be organised at Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Park in front of Mantralaya on December 24 at 11 am. The General Administration Department has instructed all the officers of Mantralaya, departmental heads of Satpura and Vindhyachal Bhavans and subordinate officers and employees to take part in the Good Governance Day programme and oath-taking function.

The oath to be taken on good governance day is as follows:

I take oath with solemnity that I will always remain committed to maintaining highest standards of good governance in the state and will keep undertaking every possible effort for making the administration more transparent, participative, welfare-centric and responsive. I will always be ready for every possible effort for achieving the goal of bringing about improvement in the living conditions of state’s citizens.
